About

I build interfaces where engineering precision and visual calm meet. For the past eight years I have worked across design systems, component libraries, and the fussy last ten percent of product surfaces that most teams never budget for.

Currently at Meridian Labs, shaping a component registry used by a few thousand developers. Before that I spent years making dashboards legible and forms forgiving. I care about hairlines, tabular numerals, and interfaces that respect reduced-motion preferences.

Experience

  • Meridian Labs
    Senior Design Engineer Full-time 2023 - Present

Own the public component registry: API design, docs engine, and the visual language. Shipped the v3 token system and cut style regressions to near zero with visual snapshot gates.

    Design Engineer Full-time 2021 - 2023

Built the first shared primitives package and the theming bridge between design tokens and the runtime.

  • Fieldnote Systems
    Frontend Engineer Full-time 2018 - 2021

Made agricultural sensor dashboards readable in direct sunlight: high-contrast themes, dense tables, offline-first sync.

    Gridframe

A layout engine for hairline-grid pages: screen-line utilities, stripe separators, and a panel system in 4 KB of CSS.

  • Tabular

Headless data-table primitives with sticky math: pinned columns, virtual rows, and numerals that always line up.

  • Quietmark

A Markdown renderer tuned for reading: measure-locked line lengths, soft link underlines, print-perfect output.
