Wanted to test kimi k3.1 pro and their subs don't seem to be great value so used it through openrouter + ran with claude code as harness.
Did the task quite well, worked for 48 minutes without me steering it and implemented it. Ye its not perfect, will post opus 5.5 comparison in comments and prompt i used
But overall, pretty solid model, not as good as opus 5.5 but by far best model to come from non-US labs so far.
Now only thing needed is for opencode or one of others to add it to a sub in a way where value is actually decent for $.
Pretty concerning for OAI/Anth - especially ahead of the IPO.
