Editorial Dev Portfoliov1.0.6
Use this Skill to build website page.
An editorial personal site for an independent software designer, developer or educator: a narrow white column on a pale ground, a small round portrait, a quiet one-line headline and a tilted strip of three studio photos. Selected work opens into full case studies with problem, process and measured results, essays get proper article pages, and teaching, about and contact pages complete the site. Monochrome slate type in light and dark, with project covers drawn as crisp product mockups instead of laptop photos.

- A complete portfolio in one self-contained HTML file that opens offline: home, work index, case studies, writing index, articles, teaching, about, contact, privacy and 404
- Case studies with problem, findings, process, design details and count-up results, plus a journal with topic filters, search, reading progress and author cards
- Geist, Newsreader and Geist Mono embedded, light and dark themes, product-mockup covers, and a contact form, waitlist and newsletter that validate and confirm
Good fit
- Independent product designers, design engineers and developers who sell their judgement through case studies
- Educators and writers with a course, workshops or essays to show next to their client work
- Solo practitioners who want a trustworthy site now, or the same design ported into their own Next.js, Nuxt, SvelteKit or Astro project
Not for
- Studios or agencies presenting a team: the whole site speaks in one person's first-person voice
- Product launches or SaaS marketing pages built around feature grids and plan comparisons
- Hosted form processing or a CMS out of the box: forms confirm on the page until you connect your own service
About this Skill

Tell it who you are, what you have built and what you teach, and get back a personal site that reads like a practitioner's own front page: a narrow white column, a small round portrait, one quiet headline and a tilted strip of studio photos. It arrives as one self-contained file that opens in any browser and works offline.

What you get
- Selected work with full case studies: problem, what was learned, process, design details and measured results
- A writing journal with topic filters and search, and article pages with reading progress and an author card
- Teaching or services, an about page with your experience timeline, and a contact form that validates and confirms
- Project covers drawn as crisp product mockups rather than laptop photos, in light and dark themes
- Inside your own project, the same design ported with real routes

How to use it
- Share your name and discipline, three to six projects with their outcomes, your writing, any course or services, and your career history
- Add your portrait and studio photos if you have them; anything missing is drafted or generated as a stand-in and listed for you to replace
- Open the finished file in your browser and ask for changes in plain words, such as a new case study or a shorter headline

Generated photos use your agent's image tool and may carry that tool's usage charges. Fonts and images are embedded, so the finished file makes no network requests.
What you need before you start
- You bring
- Your name, discipline, availability and contact email · 3 to 6 projects with client, role, problem, process and measured results · Writing, teaching or services, career history, and your own portrait and studio photos if you have them
- Dependencies
- Node.js 18 or newer on your agent's machine, to run the bundled script that builds the single offline file · Internet access while the file is built, so the fonts can be downloaded once and embedded · Optional: an image generation tool in your agent for stand-in portrait, studio and article photos
- Outside costs
- Your own photos cost nothing. Stand-in portrait, studio, case-study and article photos are generated with your agent's own image tool, which may incur that tool's usage charges; neutral studio photos bundled with the Skill can also stay as placeholders.
